Fruition!
I made a model boat totally out of Fronds. The boat actually came out quite well. With that being said, seeing it float will make me even happier because if this model floats, then the actual boat I'm working on definitely will float because it's mostly made of Fronds. Adding the "Noodles" and bubble tubes was me going overboard. It will show that it wasn't necessary for me to add the extras during the early stage of building the boat. Building a model isn't the same as building an actual boat, but I am testing how the Fronds behave in water. I will be adding the platform to the Mobile Boat Cradle in the next few days. I used screws and nuts to secure the joints. So far the cradle is way more sturdier than when I tried using clamps. Right now I'm learning while I'm doing. Book knowledge can only go as far as the pages you read until you apply some of the techniques. Right now it's all basic, since this is my first boat building project.
