INTUITIVE ENGINEERING!
I finally started working on my Mobile Egyptian Skiffy Cradle. I had to remove the screws that was located in the legs of the metal frame I found. Once that was done, I was able to separate the joints connecting the upper part of the frame to it's lower joints. Once that was done, I rearranged everything with the idea of making the cradle like the Ancient Egyptian sled design. The pieces are conveying to me where they go. The technical aspects of the design will take a bit of brainstorming. I have yet to measure the length and width of the cradle. The plan is to make the cradle adjustable. How the boat will sit in the cradle also has to be figured out, but the width of the cradle seems to be wide enough. I already have an idea of what wheels I'll be using.
Once I get the rest of the parts that will go into making the cradle and It's assembled, I'll draw a diagram of it. It seems inspiration comes almost like a musician who has the ability to play by ear. For me designing is like solving a puzzle and putting one together at the same time.
